FUTURE PROMAN is the result of the integration in FUTURE Group of PROMAN - Centro de Estudos e Projectos, S.A., a Portuguese company founded in 1981, specialized in the development of projects and endeavours, both public and private, in the fields of infrastructure, urbanization and buildings, including planning, design, licensing, management and supervision of works.
It counts in its portfolio more than 2000 completed assignments. Its international experience is extensive and goes back to the beginning of its activity, currently covering services provided in over 25 countries.
FUTURE Proman has its operational headquarters in Lisbon and currently has delegations or subsidiaries in Oporto, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia and Romania.
The company has the highest classification of General Quality Manager for Construction Projects, attributed by the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, since 1994, and has in force the Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems certified according to the references NP EN ISO 9001:2008; NP EN ISO 14001:2012 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

PROMAN was created in the 80's with the objective of concentrating the enormous experience of a group of specialists of the port-maritime sector, coming from the LISNAVE group. Its teams were responsible for the planning, design and supervision of numerous and relevant projects in countries such as Portugal, Mozambique, Angola, Brazil, Spain, Cape Verde, Poland, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Nigeria.
The company has established itself since then as one of the world's leading companies in the design, management and supervision of ports and shipyards.
As a result of the market recognition of the quality of the services provided by PROMAN, increased demand led to the need to expand the scope of its capabilities, with a rapid rise in the areas of Management and Supervision of Construction, which, from the mid-nineties, became the most important activities in terms of the company's business volume.
Since then, the company has been responsible for more than 700 supervision and management contracts for water supply and wastewater infrastructure, construction of residential, services and commercial buildings, collective equipment, transportation infrastructure (road, port) and electrical infrastructure, of which more than 90% were for public clients, becoming a reference in Portugal in the provision of these type of services.
With the opening of its activity to new markets, in 2005 PROMAN invested on the diversification of its capabilities and internal resources, seeking to create an integrated offer of engineering design services that covered the needs of its customers, having constituted a significant portfolio in the areas of building design, water supply, sanitation and waste management infrastructures, road infrastructure, as well as environmental and sustainability studies and projects.
