Carlos António de Magalhães Ferraz do Prado de Lacerda is a Civil Engineer, graduated in 1978 from Instituto Superior Técnico of University of Lisbon (IST-UL). In 1988 he completed a post-graduate course in Economics and Construction Technology from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon (IST-UL). In 1993 he completed a post-graduate programme in Industrial and Business Management at INDEG-ISCTE. In 2007 he attended the Project Management programme PMBOK of Project Management Institute.
Before joining Proman in 2016, he worked at Parque EXPO, the company responsible for setting up the 1998 World Exposition in Lisbon, and later for managing major public sector projects. At this company, for over almost a decade and a half, he participated in major national projects such as the Polis, Cities and Coastal Programs, and the Tagus Front, where he performed the functions of project manager and intervention coordinator.
Between 1996 and 2001 he has been at Profabril, S.A., where he held the position of Operations Director until 2000, being responsible for commercial, construction management and supervision, and project management. As project manager, he led multidisciplinary teams responsible for the preparation of numerous projects, of buildings, industry, infrastructures, transport, roads and public space. In 2000 he assumed the general direction of the company.
From 1979 to 1996, he was construction director, production director and general director at Indubel, S.A., specialized in heavy prefabrication, prestressing and special foundations, and director of studies and planning at the construction company Novopca, being part of the ACE IBEREXPO, responsible for the construction of EXPO 98 exhibition halls and the realignment of the José Queirós Square.
From 1978 to 1979, he collaborated with several engineering and architectural firms as structural designer.
He joined Proman in 2016 which is now part of the FUTURE Group, where, as a director, he took responsibility for the management and supervision of works. In mid-2019, when the FUTURE group was established, he became Future Proman CEO.
